Peyote is a classic stitch and is widely used. It is a technique originated by Native Americans of the Southwest United States. They used it to adorn objects used in religious ceremonies as well as everyday life. We will be learning the basic stitch and create a beautiful bracelet with a Swarovski Button closure.

I learned this neat trick some years ago and even taught it on one of our Beading Cruises, but just haven't used it in awhile. So I dusted it off a tried it again. I know you will enjoy this, it is the same technique used in the Three to One Bracelet Video but we are using five strands. So gather up some pretty beads and let's get beading!
Tips and Tricks: Use a 20" Bead Board to layout your beads, I did a random pattern but with so many strands we want to make sure the beads lay well together. A customer asked how to make a 3 stranded bracelet end cleanly into a toggle! Well I am not sure if this what she had in mind, but this is my solution, for now anyway. I have used this technique for multi stranded necklaces but not a bracelet. I am pleased with the result and I hope this will be good option for ending a 3 stranded bracelet into a toggle cleanly!

These are really easy to make using the double needle right angle weave technique. Once you have mastered one pair you can add tier's to them for your Sarah, or as Shanna has use a different shaped bead for the bottom middle, the possibilities are only limited to your imagination!
